BaseState Compliance Inc. provides training, assessment, and credentialing services related to human-in-the-loop (HITL) awareness, leadership judgment, and critical thinking in AI-assisted work environments. BaseState Compliance Inc. does not provide legal, regulatory, employment, professional, fiduciary, or compliance advice. Participation in any BaseState program or possession of any BaseState-issued credential does not constitute certification of compliance with any law, regulation, standard, collective agreement, or industry requirement in any jurisdiction. BaseState Compliance Inc. does not design, develop, deploy, operate, manage, control, audit, or monitor any artificial intelligence system, automated system, or decision system used by credential holders or their employers. All decisions, actions, and outcomes involving AI-assisted systems remain the sole responsibility of the individual user, employer, agency, or organization deploying or relying upon such systems. BaseState Compliance Inc. makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, that participation in its programs will prevent harm, loss, error, bias, regulatory action, litigation, or adverse outcomes. Use of BaseState Compliance services is voluntary and at the sole risk of the user.

No Reliance / No Duty of Care

Users, employers, agencies, and third parties acknowledge that they do not rely on BaseState Compliance Inc. to identify, prevent, detect, correct, or remediate errors, bias, misconduct, or failures related to AI-assisted systems. No duty of care, fiduciary obligation, professional responsibility, or standard of care is created by participation in any BaseState Compliance program or by issuance or verification of any credential.

‘Human in the Loop’ Limitation

References to 'human in the loop' describe a training focus on awareness, judgment, and escalation behavior. Such references do not designate any individual or BaseState Compliance Inc. as the sole safety control, decision authority, or guarantor of outcomes. Human-in-the-loop training supplements, but does not replace, organizational governance, policies, controls, supervision, or legal obligations.

Agency Relationship Disclaimer

Employment agencies participating in the BaseState Compliance program act solely as referral or access partners. BaseState Compliance Inc. does not employ, place, supervise, direct, or evaluate certified individuals and does not participate in employment or engagement decisions. No agency, employer, or third party is authorized to represent that BaseState Compliance Inc. assumes responsibility for candidate performance or decision outcomes.

California-Specific Notice

Nothing in BaseState Compliance materials shall be construed as a guarantee of safety, legality, or performance under California law, including but not limited to consumer protection, employment, or unfair competition statutes. Participation does not create a professional services relationship or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

New York-Specific Notice

BaseState Compliance Inc. does not hold itself out as providing licensed professional services under New York law, including legal, engineering, risk management, or compliance consulting services. No statements made in connection with BaseState Compliance programs shall be construed as representations of fact upon which reliance is reasonably foreseeable for purposes of tort or professional liability.

Governing Law & Severability

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
